The "Back Stage Viewing " ticket allows you to view the "Pacific Ocean" tank , where Whale shark and other marine life live, from a special backstage area. Due to popular demand, these tickets are now available for advance reservation.

The time you purchased corresponds to your admission time to the Kaiyukan, and you can participate in the "Back Stage Viewing" event, which will be held 30 minutes after the start of admission.

Back Stage Viewing

In the back area of the "Pacific Ocean" tank, you can observe Whale shark and other fish swimming from directly above, experiencing what's happening behind the scenes that you can't see from the viewing walkway. Marine Mates will also provide commentary (in Japanese).

Back Stage Viewing(Feeding Time)

In addition to the regular backstage tour, you can also observe the feeding of the fish in the "Pacific Ocean" tank from the backstage area. A Marine Mate will provide commentary (in Japanese) as the aquarium keeper work together to feed 1,500 fish of 50 different species.
