A tour will be held that takes visitors to the backstage area, which is normally only accessible to aquarium keeper , including the -30°C freezer where food is stored.
After changing into rubber boots, you can watch the Whale shark and other animals being fed up close from the work walkway above the Pacific Ocean tank .
This special tour is packed with experiences you can only get here, such as seeing the space where the aquarium keeper actually work, hearing the Whale shark sucking in their food, and seeing the tank from the same perspective as the aquarium keeper .
Also, each session is limited to one group , so you can enjoy the experience with peace of mind.

- The Pacific Ocean Premium Backyard Tour price does not include admission fees.
- The tour fee and admission fee will be paid together by the representative at the reception on the day of the tour. (If you are joining the tour, there is no need to purchase an admission ticket in advance.)
- Generally, cancellations and refunds are not possible after a guided tour reservation has been confirmed. ・Registration begins 5 minutes before the start of the tour. Even if you arrive early, you will not be able to complete the procedure before the registration time. If you are late for the start of the tour, refunds and tour time extensions will not be possible.
- This tour is limited to one group of adults (16 years and over) (minimum 1 person, maximum 3 people). Children under 15 years of age are not permitted to participate.
- You will not be able to use the restroom during the tour. Please use the restroom before you arrive at the reception.
- To ensure safety, mobility aids (wheelchairs, pushchairs, walking sticks, etc.) are not permitted.
- Please change into rubber boots as you will be walking along wet walkways and uneven surfaces. If you are wearing sandals, please bring socks. Please also note that your hands may get wet.
- For safety, you will be required to wear a life jacket. Please wear pants as the pants will be placed under your legs. Please refrain from wearing excessively decorative clothing. Please wear clothing that is easy to move in and will not be affected if it gets dirty.
- Please note that there may be a distinctive smell from the fish, bait, seawater, etc. The distinctive smell may also transfer to your hands or clothes.
- Please remove any earrings or piercings during the tour to prevent them from falling into the tank.
- No luggage, including smartphones, is permitted in the back area. Please temporarily store your luggage in a locker (free of charge) before entering the restricted area. Only small items such as cell phones, wallets, and other valuables, as well as drinks with lids, can be stored in the lockers (free of charge). For larger luggage, please use the coin lockers (fees apply) in advance.
