Barrier-free and first aid stations
We will introduce you to the facilities and services available at Kaiyukan.
At Kaiyukan and Tempozan Marketplace, we strive to ensure that all our guests can enjoy their visit.
wheelchair
Wheelchairs are available for rental at the information desk (next to the ticket counter) and the service counter (3rd floor of the entrance building). *Numbers are limited.
Barrier-free toilets
There are barrier-free restrooms on the 2nd floor of the entrance building (front entrance area) and on the 6th floor of the Aquarium.
Parking for the disabled
Tempozan Parking Lot has 13 parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities. Please ask the parking security guard for details. (Reservations cannot be made.)
Compassion Zone (various locations Aquarium)
Most of the Aquarium of Kaiyukan is equipped with slopes, so wheelchair users can enjoy themselves. Please rest assured that staff will guide you to the elevator if necessary. In addition, we have set up a consideration zone in the viewing passages Aquarium.
First Aid Room (Entrance Building 2F)
There are nurses on-site at all times. Please use them if you feel unwell or are injured.
Admission of assistance dogs
The following assistance dogs are permitted in the museum:
1. Guide dogs, 2. Hearing dogs, 3. Assistance dogs, and assistance dogs may enter the museum as usual, along with accompanying customers with disabilities.
