Barrier-free and first aid stations
We will introduce you to the facilities and services available at Kaiyukan.
At Kaiyukan and Tempozan Marketplace, we strive to ensure that all our guests can enjoy their visit.
Information desk (next to the ticket window)
We have wheelchairs available for rental. Please feel free to ask. *Numbers are limited.
(We may ask you to switch to this wheelchair if your wheelchair is not maneuverable or cannot adjust its speed due to the risk of collision with other passengers.)
Barrier-free toilets
Wheelchair accessible toilets are available at each location.
Parking for the disabled
Tempozan Parking Lot has 13 parking spaces reserved for people with disabilities. Please ask the parking security guard for details. (Reservations cannot be made.)
Compassion Zone (various locations Aquarium)
Most of the Aquarium of Kaiyukan is equipped with slopes, so wheelchair users can enjoy themselves. Please rest assured that staff will guide you to the elevator if necessary. In addition, we have set up a consideration zone in the viewing passages Aquarium.
First Aid Room (Entrance Building 2F)
There are nurses on-site at all times. Please use them if you feel unwell or are injured.
Admission of assistance dogs
The following assistance dogs are permitted in the museum:
1. Guide dogs, 2. Hearing dogs, 3. Assistance dogs, and assistance dogs may enter the museum as usual, along with accompanying customers with disabilities.
