Our staff make regular rounds to provide assistance with wheelchairs and strollers, search for lost items and children, and answer any questions you may have within the Aquarium, to ensure that you are safe, secure, and comfortable.

2. A medical room with nursing staff on-site

There are licensed nurses on duty at the Kaiyukan's first aid room at all times. If you are injured or feeling unwell, please speak to a nearby staff member.
NIFREL also has a first aid room, so if you would like to use it, please speak to a nearby staff member.

3. Providing services that allow wheelchair users to have a comfortable stay

At Kaiyukan, we have wheelchair rentals, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and other facilities, and staff will assist you in using the elevators to move around the Aquarium.
We provide services to ensure a comfortable visit for wheelchair users.
NIFREL does not rent out wheelchairs, but they are available at LaLaport Expocity.

4. Thorough security measures

We are taking various security measures to provide you with a safe, secure, and high-quality service.

• Installation of entrance and exit gates To prevent suspicious individuals and those without confirmed tickets from entering, entrance and exit gates have been installed with staff on duty.
• Installation of security cameras and monitors To ensure safety within the facility, security cameras and monitors have been installed in various locations within Tempozan Harbor Village and at NIFREL.
  Recorded data will be used only for security purposes and will be deleted after being stored for a certain period of time.
• Safety checks by security guardsSecurity guards make regular patrols to check safety within the facility.

5. We have established a crime prevention and disaster prevention system

At our company, crime prevention and disaster prevention staff maintain and manage disaster prevention equipment, and we also conduct regular fire and disaster prevention drills to ensure the safety and security of our customers. We also work closely with nearby police and fire departments to further strengthen our countermeasures. In addition, Kaiyukan has been issued a "Certificate of Excellent Fire and Disaster Prevention" by the Osaka City Minakami Fire Department as a safe facility.

• Tsunami evacuation measures As a measure against a tsunami caused by a Nankai Trough earthquake, we consulted with the government, established evacuation policies with the aim of ensuring the safety of our customers, and are working to familiarize ourselves with these through disaster prevention drills.

6. We have a department specializing in maintenance and facility management

We have established a department specializing in facility management, which continuously performs daily safety inspections and maintenance of the equipment, enabling us to respond quickly and appropriately.In addition, to create the optimal environment for the creatures, we have established a team that specializes in managing the water quality and temperature of the tank, as well as maintaining and inspecting the filtration equipment.

7. Owns a private power generation system

Kaiyukan is equipped with a private power generation system, and in the event of a power outage due to a disaster, we have a system in place to supply power to disaster prevention equipment until guests can evacuate safely.
