  Mini exhibition "MAKING OF GBR tank"

  This is the making-of story of how the tank was reborn 33 years after it opened. The exhibition will show the details of the on-site research carried out in Australia in preparation for the renovation work, actual footage, and the basic concept plan that was created based on many hints from the research. You will be able to learn more about the commitment of Kaiyukan.

  About the photo exhibition "Nature and Creatures of Cairns"

  To commemorate the reopening of the Great Barrier Reef tank, we will be holding a photo exhibition introducing Australian nature.
  The photo exhibition features photographs taken by Kaiyukan staff during on-site surveys of the Great Barrier Reef, as well as photographs provided with cooperation from the Cairns Tourism Board, Cairns-based bird photographer Jun Matsui, and Taichi Wada of the NPO Nanko Wetland Group.
